Build the tradition of giving

Fostering generosity in children to celebrate the joy of giving.

The Story of Return to Santa

In December 2019 I was drowning in outgrown toys and with Christmas fast approaching I needed to find a way to encourage my children to let go of them. That's when Return to Santa was born.

On the first of December our elf, Sprinkles, arrived to cause havoc but little did my children know that Sprinkles was an agent working for me!

With him he bought a simple sack which he asked the children to fill with their outgrown or broken toys to be recycled and fixed for other children.

On Christmas Eve along with Santas mince pie and Rudolf's carrot we put out our sack and it was as if by magic gone the next morning.

I was amazed at how effective this method was at helping my children let go of their old stuff and loved how it gave us the opportunity to talk about the importance of giving, children less fortunate than them and the environment in a fun age appropriate way which actually added to the magic of Christmas.

I made more for friend who loved them too and Return to Santa was born!
